Papohaku Beach

Papohaku Beach, on the northwest side of Moloka`i, is also called Three Mile Beach because of its length — and, as such, is one of the longest beaches in Hawai`i. Generally there are very few people here, which coupled with the length of the beach, makes it feel deserted. The trade winds will often whip up the surf giving spectacular waves and even lead to blowing sand on the beach.
