This week we have a change of pace — a guest photographer, Johnny (my step-grandson), took photos of ZooLights, a light show at the Phoenix Zoo each Christmas holiday season. Note that night photography is a big challenge for any photographer, but he did quite well. And as a result, I will not comment on most of his photos — and he is too busy with attending ASU to do so for us. So just sit back and enjoy his work. ![]() |

(B. David's comments) This photo that Johnny took originally showed a wide concrete pathway in front of the lights outlining various animals and plants. So I decided to experiment with a new AI feature (artificial intelligence) in Photoshop. I first made an outline of that pathway, then told Photoshop to overlay it with a night photo of a lake. What you see was the result — I did not have to do anything to add the reflections on the surface of the water — Photoshop did it all by itself. Amazing! ![]() |
To be continued... |
Life is good. |
